Connect a new device ›
  1. On a device that already syncs: LiveSync → Setup → "Copy settings as a new Setup URI", set a one-time passphrase.
  2. On the new device: install Obsidian, create an empty vault named iBrain, install & enable Self-hosted LiveSync.
  3. Run "Use the copied Setup URI", paste the string, enter the one-time passphrase.
  4. When asked, choose "This vault is empty" and fetch — never re-initialise the server.
  5. Keep the same E2E passphrase + Obfuscate setting everywhere, and set Sync Mode to LiveSync.
